Delete Your Tidal Account
You can delete your Tidal account through self-service deletion or by contacting Tidal Support.
If you use Tidal Artist Home to manage your artist profile, please review the Artist Home section below before submitting a deletion request. Some actions can be completed directly within Tidal Artist Home without deleting your account.
What to Know Before Deleting Your Tidal Account
Deleting your Tidal account is permanent and irreversible.
When your account is deleted:
Your playlists, favorites, listening history, profile, any music uploaded through Tidal Upload, and account details are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
You immediately lose access to Tidal streaming services and Tidal Artist Home.
Any remaining subscription period is forfeited. Please review our Refund Policy to determine eligibility.
You are no longer eligible for promotions or free trials.
If you were enrolled in any Tidal competitions, artist programs, or payout initiatives, your participation will be voided and you may no longer be eligible for remuneration.
You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
If you want to stop paying for streaming but keep your account and access to Tidal Artist Home, cancel your subscription instead of deleting your account.
Self-Service Account Deletion
You can delete your account through the following methods:
iOS / Android
Go to Settings
Select Manage Account
Tap Delete account
Follow the on-screen instructions
Web
Visit account.tidal.com/profile
Select Delete account
Follow the instructions
If your subscription is managed by a third party (such as Apple or Google), deleting your Tidal account does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel directly with that provider to avoid future charges.
If you are unable to complete the self-service flow (for example, you no longer have access to your email or your account is used for Tidal Artist Home), please contact Tidal Support.
Stripe Account (For Sellers Using Tidal Upload)
If you were selling music through Tidal Upload, deleting your Tidal account does not automatically close your Stripe account.
You will continue to have access to your Stripe dashboard.
Any remaining or pending payouts will be handled according to Stripe’s terms and payout schedule.
To close your Stripe account, you must do so directly through Stripe by logging in at dashboard.stripe.com or following Stripe’s account closure instructions.
Before closing your Stripe account, we recommend downloading any tax documents or transaction history, as closed accounts cannot be reopened.
If you need assistance, please contact Tidal Support.
Tidal Artist Home Options
If you use Tidal Artist Home, select the option below that best matches what you would like to do.
Delete My Tidal Account and Stop Using Tidal Artist Home
Deleting your Tidal account will:
Remove your access to Tidal Artist Home
Remove your ability to manage any Artist Profiles you administer
Delete and/or anonymize data you have provided through Tidal Artist Home
Remove streaming access if the same account is used for streaming
Deleting your Tidal account does not automatically remove content from your public Artist Profile page. See “Delete Information on My Artist Profile Page” below.
If you are listed as an Owner of an Artist Profile, we recommend transferring ownership to another team member before deleting your account. If ownership is not transferred, other team members may lose access and the page may become claimable by other users.
Continue Using Tidal Artist Home but Stop Paying for Streaming
If you would like to keep access to Tidal Artist Home but stop paying for streaming services, cancel your subscription instead of deleting your account.
Canceling your subscription:
Stops future subscription charges
Maintains access to Tidal Artist Home
Delete Information on My Artist Profile Page in Tidal Artist Home
We cannot fully delete an Artist Profile page if music is available on Tidal, as the page is required for fans to find and stream your music.
If you remove content such as your bio or images through Tidal Artist Home, we may replace that content with information provided by your label or distributor.
Removal of distributed music is not handled through Tidal Artist Home. If you would like your music removed from Tidal, you must contact your label or distributor directly.
If You Have Not Claimed Your Artist Profile
If you do not have a Tidal account or have not claimed your Artist Profile through Tidal Artist Home, the content displayed on your Artist Profile page — including distributed music — is information we receive from third parties such as your label or distributor.
We cannot remove distributed music or related profile content unilaterally.
If you would like your music or other distributed content removed from Tidal, please contact your label or distributor directly to submit that request.
If you have any questions or need help with the steps above, Tidal Support is available to assist.
