Force Close Tidal

If the Tidal app is unresponsive or you are requested to force close your Tidal app, you can do so by following the steps for your device below:

Android

1. Locate the Tidal app icon on your device.
2. Select App Info.
3. Click on Force stop.

iOS

1. Double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps.
2. Swipe left or right to locate Tidal.
3. Swipe up on the Tidal preview to force close the app.

For iPhone X or later, iPads on iOS 12 or later or iPadOS follow these steps:

1. On the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom and pause in the middle of the screen.
2. Swipe left or right to locate Tidal.
3. Touch and hold the Tidal app pane. A red minus icon symbol will appear at the top left.
4. Tap on the minus symbol or swipe up on the app preview to force close Tidal.
