Where can I see how much tax I am being charged?
Taxes are listed separately on your receipt, which you can view by visiting account.tidal.com. Log into your account and click on Payment.
I have been a Tidal subscriber for years, why am I being charged this tax now?
Tidal is required to comply with applicable state, local, and provincial tax laws. The total tax applied varies by county, city, state, province, or territory, and is based on the rates applicable at the time of your payment. These amounts can change over time based on updates in local or provincial tax requirements.
I don’t see a tax line item on my receipt, why is that?
You will only see this charge if you are paying directly through Tidal with your credit or debit card.
Does the tax I'm being charged change if I move to a different state or province?
Yes. The tax rate is based on the billing zip code, province, or territory you provided when adding your payment method. To update your tax rate:
Go to account.tidal.com and log into your account.
Select Payment to view your current payment details.
Delete your existing payment method.
Add (or re-add) your payment method with the new billing zip code, province, or territory.
You should see the updated tax rate with your next billing cycle. You can view this invoice on your billing date under Payment in your account.
