Team roles in TIDAL Artist Home allow artists and songwriters to manage their profiles and catalogs effectively. By assigning specific roles and access levels, you can collaborate with team members, maintain control over your works, and ensure that your profile is managed according to your preferences.
How do I invite a new team member?
- Go to the Team tab and select Invite new team member.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
- Assign the appropriate role and access level.
- The invited person will receive an email invitation to join your team.
How can I remove or change a team member's access level?
- To remove a team member, click the three dots next to their name and select Revoke access. If needed, you can re-invite them to the team.
- To change a team member’s access level, click the three dots next to their name, select Edit, and choose the new role or access level.
How do I transfer ownership of an account?
- Navigate to Team > Edit > Owner under Manage Roles.
- Select Transfer and choose the Admin team member to whom you want to transfer ownership.
- Follow the prompts to confirm the transfer.
Note: There can only be one Owner per account. After the transfer, the previous Owner’s role changes to Admin.
Access Level Descriptions
Owner:
Artist Profile:
- The Owner access level for an artist profile can be held by Artists, Managers, Group Members, and Labels.
- Artists who are Owners of a profile have full access to Profile Management and Collabs. They can invite and remove team members and change their access levels.
- Managers, Group Members, and Labels who are Owners of a profile have full access to Profile Management. They can invite and remove team members and change their access levels.
- The user who claims an artist profile is automatically assigned the Owner access level, though they can reassign Owner access to another user later on. Only one user can have Owner access at a time.
Songwriter Profile:
- The Owner access level for a songwriter profile grants full access to Works Management and Profile Management. Owners can invite and remove team members and change their access levels.
- Only users with the role of Songwriter or Manager can be the Owner of a songwriter profile. The user who claims a songwriter profile is automatically assigned the Owner access level, though they can reassign Owner access to another user later on. Only one user can have Owner access at a time.
Admin:
Artist Profile:
- The Admin access level for an artist profile can be held by Artists, Managers, Group Members, and Labels.
- Artists who are Admins of a profile have access to Profile Management and Collabs.
- All other roles who are Admins of a profile have access to Profile Management.
- All Admins can invite and remove team members at the Editor and Viewer access levels, as well as change the access level of Editors and Viewers.
Songwriter Profile:
- The Admin access level for a songwriter profile can be held by Songwriters, Managers, and Publishers. Admins have access to Works Management and Profile Management.
- Admins can invite and remove team members at the Editor and Viewer access levels, as well as change the access level of Editors and Viewers.
Editor:
Artist Profile:
- The Editor access level for an artist profile can be held by Managers, Group Members, Labels, or the "Other" role. Editors have access to Profile Management and can invite and remove team members at the Viewer access level.
Songwriter Profile:
- No roles have Editor access.
Viewer:
The Viewer access level for artist and songwriter profiles allows users to view Works and Profile Management. They cannot edit the artist or songwriter profile, nor can they invite or remove users.
