What does it mean to beta test on TIDAL?
All subscribers on iOS or Android devices can enable beta features to test new features and functionality before they are released to the general public.
How do I try beta features?
- Update to the latest version of the TIDAL app on your Android or iOS device.
- Go to Settings, find the “Join beta” section, and toggle “Enable beta features” on.
- You can come back to this setting to turn beta features on or off at any time.
Will TIDAL contact me about my experience with beta features?
Possibly! We reach out periodically to beta members to ask about their experience with certain features and the program overall. We may also contact you if there’s something specific we want you to look at in an upcoming version.
How do I give feedback or report a bug in a beta version?
We want to hear about your experience with our new features and functionality! Please reach out to the TIDAL Support team to give feedback or report a bug on any TIDAL beta version you are currently testing.
Do I receive compensation for being a part of the testing beta features?
Enabling beta features is voluntary and offers exclusive access to new features and functionality; therefore, there is no compensation for being part of it. By testing beta features and providing feedback on TIDAL’s beta products, you agree to our no-compensation policy. More information about participation is available here.
Do I have to test beta features?
There is no requirement to test beta features if you don’t want to.
How do I get the most out of testing beta features?
As you spend time using the new products, features, and functions, send as many bug reports as you think are necessary. This will help our team continue to improve the TIDAL platform.
How do I stop testing beta features?
If you’d no longer like to test beta features, you can leave anytime in the TIDAL app by navigating to “Settings” > “Join Beta” > turn off the “Enable beta features” toggle.
