Firewall

“You must be connected to the internet to use TIDAL. You either have problems with your Internet connection or there is an interlock for TIDAL in your firewall.”

“It appears that your internet connection is unstable, which can cause problems with playback or navigation in TIDAL.”

These errors are in most cases caused by a firewall that stops the traffic to TIDAL. Check your firewall settings. You can create an exemption for the TIDAL application.

If you are on a job network, such traffic is often blocked. In these cases, the only solution is to check with your IT administrators if they can open up the necessary traffic. If specific IP/domains are required, TIDAL uses the following:
