What is TIDAL HiFi Plus?

TIDAL HiFi Plus is the only service that allows you to listen to music in lossless high fidelity audio, Master Authenticated Quality audio, and immersive audio formats all in one place. A HiFi Plus membership guarantees that you will be first to get the latest updates in sound technology before other members. 

How much does TIDAL HiFi Plus cost?

How is this different from TIDAL HiFi?

TIDAL HiFi is now our entry level HiFi subscription and allows you to listen to music in lossless high fidelity audio. It does not allow you to listen to music in higher quality or immersive sound formats, and TIDAL HiFi members will not be the first to receive the latest updates in sound technology.  An individual HiFi plan costs $17.99 per month. 

I was a TIDAL HiFi member before HiFi Plus launched. What happens to me? 

Don’t worry, you will be upgraded to a HiFi Plus membership for no additional charge to ensure that your listening experience is not impacted and you can keep the benefits you currently have. This will allow you to continue to access Master Quality audio, 360 Reality Audio, and Dolby Atmos, in addition to HiFi audio. TIDAL HiFi is now our entry level HiFi subscription that does not provide access to Master Quality audio, 360 Reality Audio, or Dolby Atmos. 

I don’t want the additional benefits of HiFi Plus. Can I downgrade to TIDAL HiFi? 

Yes, you can. Please visit Upgrade or Downgrade a Subscription for instructions on how to downgrade your subscription. Note that you will be losing access to Master Quality audio, 360 Reality Audio, or Dolby Atmos, as well as being the first to receive the latest updates in sound technology. 

Note that if you are using Apple Pay, you will have to stop your existing subscription and wait for it to end to try out the new plan.

I am a Premium member and want to try HiFi Plus. How can I upgrade?

Please visit Upgrade or Downgrade a Subscription that shows downgrade and upgrade instructions] for instructions on how to upgrade.

Who can try HiFi Plus?

New users, current users, and former users can all try HiFi Plus. HiFi Plus is currently only available in Australia.
